Preservation Sacramento has partnered with the Center for Sacramento History to teach you step-by-step how to conduct research on properties in Sacramento.


This in-depth training opportunity will highlight records and artifact collections at the Center for Sacramento History and provide an overview of resources at other local repositories. You will learn how to quickly locate the information about your property, and how to put that information into context. 

Expert practitioners Garret Root, Dylan McDonald, and Alex Guilbert will demonstrate two case-study properties, one in the City of Sacramento and one in Sacramento County.
